What is a Curated Destination Experience?
A curated destination experience is not a pre-designed package or a list of places to visit.
It begins with understanding what you want to live.
Perhaps you are imagining a marriage proposal in Sardinia, a private celebration with a few people, several days surrounding your wedding, an anniversary, a honeymoon, or simply a journey through Italy that feels personal rather than touristic.
Our role is to help interpret that intention and connect it with the destination: identifying the setting, timing, atmosphere and people that can make the experience feel naturally yours.
The destination is not chosen because it is famous. It is chosen because it fits the story.
Designed around people, not packages
No two people arrive in Italy with the same expectations.
Some want privacy and silence. Others want to share a place with family and friends. Some imagine the sea, others a historic village, a long table beneath the trees or several days moving slowly through a destination.
That is why our process starts with listening. We listen before we design.
We look at what matters to you, how you like to travel, what you want to remember, how much privacy you need and how you want the experience to feel.
Only then do we begin shaping the destination around you.

Destination expertise changes everything
Knowing a destination means much more than knowing its most photographed locations.
It means understanding when a beach becomes crowded, how the mistral can change a day at sea, where the evening light falls, how long transfers really take, when a village becomes quiet again and which places retain their character beyond the tourist season.
These details rarely appear in travel guides. Yet they can completely change how an experience feels.
Sardinia and the Costa Smeralda are our home territory and the place we know most intimately. Our work also takes us to Lake Como, Lake Maggiore, Tuscany, the Amalfi Coast and selected destinations throughout Italy.
Experience Design is not Event Planning
Experience Design and event planning are complementary, but they are not the same role.
A planner manages the operational production of an event: timelines, logistics, supplier coordination, contracts and execution.
Our work begins earlier.
We help define what the experience should be, where it belongs and which elements are essential to its identity.
When a project requires operational production, we work alongside wedding planners, event professionals, hospitality teams and other specialists.
Creative direction does not replace operational teams. It gives them a shared vision to build from.
One experience can take many forms
A sunset proposal reached by boat in northern Sardinia.

A private day at sea followed by dinner overlooking the Mediterranean.
An anniversary built around food, landscape and time together.
A honeymoon where the photography becomes part of the journey rather than a separate appointment.

The format can change completely.
The principle remains the same: the experience should belong to the people living it.
The right people for the right experience
Curating does not mean doing everything ourselves.
Depending on the project, an experience may involve a wedding planner, chef, skipper, floral designer, musician, venue, artisan, hospitality team or another local professional.
Our role is to preserve the direction of the project while bringing in the expertise it genuinely needs.
We do not believe in adding suppliers simply to make an experience appear more elaborate. We believe in selecting what belongs.
Photography is part of the experience, not the reason for it.
Photography and film are part of our language, but they do not need to dictate the experience.
The strongest images rarely come from building a day around photographs.
They come from creating the right conditions for something real to happen: the right place, enough time, the right light and people who feel present rather than performed.
Our role as photographers gives us another way of reading an experience before it happens, understanding movement, light, timing, privacy and how moments naturally unfold.
Then photography becomes what it should be: the memory of something genuinely lived.
